Default Vt wiring loom

My back wiper doesn't work so i got a new motor thinkin it was it that was fecked, it won't work either but i checked it off a battery and both work fine. Checked underr the dash at the fuse box and there seem to be a lot of extra wires and wires cut here there and everywhere. Im presumin it was for the immobiliser/central lockin which doesn't work anymore. Is the back section of the loom simply plug and play like some other cars or is there a joint in it there near the fusebox?

it could be a bad ground near the wiper motor because off the battery you'll always get a good ground (when i say ground i mean negative - ).
