2500 plus you have to pay for the parts on top of that- seems a bit much. i dont think you have all the parts listed either. you either have to get conversion mounts for the engine or cut the existing engine mount and reweld it in the right spot. also there are extra fuel lines and a different fuel pump not sure if the pump bolts onto the 1.5 tank so you might need a tank as well. you would be better off buying a donor car as you'll never know what parts you are short.

The lads have the 1995 sir in their garage ( D&S in swords ) the price includes all the parts and labour . I was under impression this was a very expensive job and that 2500 for the lot was not bad , it seems not ! i would much prefer to put a b18 in from what ive read , but always though it would be waaaaaaaaay to expensive , so ???? how much " all in" should I pay for above ....and again for a b18 swap . i have a few bob put aside for a new leather interior ( I know I know ) , but if I though I could do a swap instead for the money i would .

theres a b18c for sale on crxuk for 1200 or 1300pound. Fatgingerlegend is the seller. Would you consider bringin car to uk, getting the engine and paying someone like daz to fit it. The benefits are that these lads have experience with crx swaps and you might even get it mapped properly. I would think u wouldnt go above a budget of 2500euro. Obviously there'd be logistical issues but with a bit of planning it should work. May eventualy go down that road myself.

no bother. From reading posts i hear he was made redundant (could be a different Daz) which may mean he's available to do the work for you. Check traders section too for Mechanical services
