Very nice. I've never seen an interior like that before. There's a good few CR-Xs coming out of the Woodwork these times which is great.

@Paul: Did you get your Rex re-mapped again?

i think i know where my problem is on the starting issue, it should be the fuel pump relay or the fuel pump itself, cos when i put ignition to II i cant hear any fuel pump sound like any other honda, and when i turn it over i press accelerater and it would start stright away if i dont press it,it wont start.
is the fuel pump relay under the dashboard on the driver side?

its not really a common problem with the 1.5x's. Its more of an issue with vtecs in the UK.

I dont think pressing the accelerator would affect it if the main relay was the issue. but yeah it is on the drivers side. main relay usually only gives trouble when cars hot after been driven for a while

sweet crx by the way its unusual

Main relay issue is fixed by whipping out the relay and re-soldering the connections. You don't even need fresh solder, just re-flow what's there. It was the first thing I did when I got my SiR and it's been going strong for 9 years now.

Welcome along !!
I think the main relay fix is only for fuel injected cars...
It could be numerous things. Have you changed the fuel filter besides the fuel tank? Common for them to be forgotten on the 1.5's. You said its been sitting for years so probably has had the same fuel in it...

You should spray a can of carb cleaner into the carbs- they clean them obviously, but MCD22's idea with the fuel additive may be better.

Best bet is to clean the carbs first and service it if you are unsure of its last one... come back then no point changing anything until you sure they are clean and the car is serviced.

Cool to finally know
