You can pick one up for a good deal less than that, Mark, I did. I'm getting around 33-34 MPG out of mine according to the computer (imagine, a car with a COMPUTER!!) which isn't bad. Tax is a complete cnut though, but that's why they're cheap to buy.

Sorry to hear the old girl's gone

End of an era Mark

I recently gave my old 1.5x to my nephew to restore and do what he wants with, will be interesting to see it back up and running again.

Welcome to the world of German tanks by the way, bugger to work on but the parts are cheaper than what Mr Honda charges.

Still on the lookout. Hard to find an e46, soooo....

I'm looking for an e60 523i or 525i. Savage cars - even the crappy ones I've test driven were silky smooth and had no squeaks or rattles. Just hoping to find a good one now.

Remember Mark to disconnect the indicators on the BMW as soon as you get it if its not done already you will never use them.

Sean that bought it is very keen alright has it on Mugen MR5s and has alot of plans for it should be at future meets.

It's difficult to find one that came with the indicator pack in the first place!

And dont forget to tailgate, especially those Audi drivers since you all have something to prove with your ditch finders [)]

I'm finding it hard not to tailgate, especially as the plebs are so slow to get out of my lane on the motorway....
