! Transfer over si runing gear.
!! Convert to B16
!!! Convert to H22

What ye think not sure wat to do. Keepin in mind the si hasnt been drivin in a while so engine will more than likely need rings and oil seals koz they will be hard no doubt

Id say just transfer over the SI running gear.

The H22 id imagine would be a hell of alot of work and iv only seen a couple done. Id speculate that it would destroy the handling of the car aswell. So much weight upfront.

H22 deffo. It'll be worth the effort and sweat in the end.Sure the Si engine is grand but ya can pick up a crx with one of them in it already,ya can't get a H22 engined crx too easy

I don't want to put a dampener on it, but I don't think swapping anything into a 1.5x shell is going to be easy...

Off the top of my head you'll need to swap the following:

- engine
- gearbox
- driveshafts
- ECU & loom
- clutch
- dash
- engine mounts

And you'll need to upgrade the suspension. And the front brakes on a 1.5x are tiny - not to mention the rear drums.

Ah but Mark he has an si sitting there for that, all that it would cost is time to transfer the needed bit over like fuel system and that.

Then visit places such as Honda-Tech for info if your gonna do the h22 swap. Tbh a h22 engine would be as cheap as a b16 imo. Just the mounts and stuff then.

Oh, there is a 2.3 vtec, tis in some sort of accord [8D]

If you need any help gettin stuff from the us ive used a few guys and have a few more bits to get, especially from summitracing.com, myt save on shipping etc.

ya was talkin to my mad mechaine there, And he said the h22 needs a complete
donor car aswell as the gears are selected by cables on top of the box
where as d or b are linkges under the box.

Ya cables are used with the k20 too, thats not too much of a biggie though.

In the past it was huge work to put a h in but with the mounts it may be easier
