Default Important question; Will it fit?

So, thanks to Stan I have the replacement bits I need, however there's one important question needs answering before I drive down to collect them from him. Does anyone know if you can get a CRX bonnet into the back of a CRX? I'll be measuring later if necessary, but my own bonnet isn't exactly bonnet-shaped any more, which might make things tricky, especially if it's a close call.

Advice/opinion/wild speculation welcome.

well i put a crx bonnet into the back of a ford focus 5 door hatch and it when in snuggley with the back seats down and boot closed. i dont think that it will fit in the crx itself. even if it some how squeezed it in the boot wouldn't close.
the only wild way i would recommend would be strap it to the roof with a blanket so as no to scratch. or get someone with a hatch back focus or megane to follow you!! thats your best bet man!!

I could live with the boot not closing if I could get enough of it inside to haul it home. I'd imagine that would still be better than strapping it to the roof, no?
