well i know they might sound like a few silly problems but there starting to get annoying. basicly the indicators don't turn off them selves after you've went around a corner and the car doesn't beep when u leave ur lights on and turn off the car.
anybody know what might be wrong. i had a look at the fuse box under the bonnet and everything looked ok? any idea what fuse would control these or are they even linked? |

im sure the beep fuse is under the dash, the other problem with the indicator stalks is on the units themselves, and if you ask about you might find some on crx-uk.

i dont think we got a warning beep for lights. It wouldnt be hard to wire in, you can get 12v beepers in maplin. The indicator problem, i dunno. Could be some loose wiring.

Did the indicators ever turn off for you. If they didn't a previous person probably left out a plastic device behind the steering wheel. Only a simple replacement.

some cars didnt come with a buzzer for the lights others did. If it is present it is attached to the fuse box under the steering wheel somewhere(thats where the noise comes from mine) as said above the buzzers can be got cheap. All you do is wire it into the parking lights (tap into + wire somewhere coming out of fuse box under steering wheel) to get you power source and earth it off the door switch.(door switch is a negative switch)
Actually you should check the door switch to see if its working properly could be a bad earth. I posted about it a while ago http://www.cr-x.org/crxorg/forum/top...?TOPIC_ID=1290 I also posted about the buzzers http://www.cr-x.org/crxorg/forum/top...?TOPIC_ID=1256 second post down The indicator problem sounds like the tab for catching the steering wheel on the indicator stalk unit is worn or broken. You should take off the cowls around the steering wheel (few philips screws) and have a look at the mechanism for shutting off the indicators. A previous owner might of fitted the indicator back poorly after fixing something |

Indicators not cancelling is down to the stalks. I had it go on both my CRX's. First one cam,e back by magic and I replaced the stalks on the second.
My second CRX had no warning beep for the lights. I discovered that the door switches for the interior light were a bit corroded. I popped them out, sanded down the corroded part and sprayed then with WD40 so they slid easily and suddenly my warning beep came on. Worth a try if you've no interior light.

My right turn cancel works but the left one doesn't...bit weird! Must open it up and have a look.
I've had buzzers not working in the past that were fixed by doing as Mark suggested above....
