Default MOMO steering wheel

Getting ready to put a new steering wheel from MOMO in my REX, was wondering if anyone has done a steering wheel swap and if you have any suggestions. I got the wheel from a friend who was going to install it on his mini-truck but never got around to it for $50 and its in awesome shape, never been used. I know that I have to order the hub also and I've looked it up on ebay. Seems that its gonna be about $60 for that. If anyone has some suggestions on installation I'd appreciate it!

Yeah, it's pretty easy, apart from connecting the horn button

- Straighten the steering wheel
- Ease off the H symbol with a knife/screwdriver
- Undo the nutt
- Making sure the steering wheel is still straight, pull it off
- Align the hub and new wheel on the car so that the stering wheel is straight
- fasten the nut back on
- You need to connect up the horn button wires. I think one goes on to a nut inside the hub and the other should be flush against the hub itself - I put one between the hub and the wheel. experiment before your fit the wheel
- put on the wheel & bolts and tighten them up carefully (each one a bit at a time)
- Admire your handywork/have a beer

I changed mine out and mccoffey was pretty much right on the money. After you pry off the "H" symbol there's a nut inside that holds the actual wheel on. Pretty much do as it says above. The horn button wires were really simple to connect up. Obviously you had to get a quick disconnect wheel hub but there should be a spot on it to connect the grounding wire to, and the horn button on the steering wheel should have a spot to plug up the stock power wire to. It's actually really simple. Hope it works out easy for ya!

Well, that last post of BEECEE's was a year ago, so it's well and truly installed at this stage. And it's a nice wheel, too, I'm happy to report.
