Right, the OEM CR-X Manifold has the 2 Oxygen sensors located at the exit point of the Manifold from the Engine, NOT under the Handbrake area of the car.
The Mani I have has 1 hole located under the Handbrake area of the car (Mid-section). My question is; If I drill and Tap a 2nd hole under the Handbrake area of the Manifold will I give an incorrect reading back to the ECU then? It's just my thinking is, if Honda wanted the 2 holes down there for t Sensors they've have put them there??? Any suggestions or advice appreciated. I was also thinking of maybe blocking that 1 hole and Drilling and Tapping 1 hole in Branch 2 & 3 of my new Mani - would this suffice?? Thanks. Pictured below is the Manifold I will be drilling the hole/s in. ![]()

theres no problem putting the two of them down near the flange just make sure that when you extend the harness you solder the connections and not just crimp them because the resistance on a crimped connection can give a faulty signal to the ecu

Yes there is, they need to be in the correct exhaust runner, youll get incorrect readings, my mani was the same, wideband went in the collector and two new ones welded up top. you can just bung the hole at the collector.
