electric folding wing mirrors will they plug straight into
ivt crx model uk type i presume the jap and uk type have same

They will fit, but you'll need the switch and relay and you'll have to wire them up or get the loom. I'm sure I saw a write up on it before, but I can't find it now. There is a wiring diagram up here:

You will need the relay and switch to make this work. There is a guy called Coolchip on crxuk that makes and sells the relay, and includes a simple wiring diagram. Its mostly plug and play.
