Default Fuel octaine level

Any one know what level of octaine the japs use on a crx v-tec?
And can it be purched anywere in Ireland?

shell optimax , im pretty sure its 99ron .( yup just checked on delsoluk.com and its 99ron , shell optimax or tescos 99ron is fine so say the lads )

I'm near sure someone had mentioned to me that the japa use something like 101ron or 105ron

mine is a vti so i use 95ron , all the sir owners use above so ide be sure thats the best available , log on and search there have been loads of threads on this one , hope this helps .

Cant get better than 95 down here so I settle with V-Power and when it really good some octane booster..

Japan is over 100. I'm not sure if its still the same but the UK always got a lower octane fuel than us. For years they were 91 and 95, and we got 95 and 98. No idea what we get these days as none of the garages tell you..
