Default Vibration through steering wheel???

Getting a vibration up through the steering wheel when at cruising speeds (60mph).. The vibrating gets worse under hard acceleration.
Got the wheels balanced today, made an improvement but the vibration is still there..

I am using the original 14" CRX wheels too which are as straight as a dime too..

Could it be tracking or some thing??

yea I'd definitely get the tracking done

if it's not that just check that all your bushing's on the droplink aren't worn

Does it feel like it is coming from one side in particular? could be a number of things friend of mine had a similar problem on his gti6 turned out it was driveshaft very common to go on them though, doubt honda would make something like weak driveshafts[)], probably something like tracking as Tony said, also consider buckled alloys but I am sure they would have told you if there was anything noticeable when they were balancing your wheels. It could just be your hand getting excited under hard acceleration[}]

I've done a bit of googling on the problem. Turns out it could be an engine mount as the vibration is much worse under accleration.

The other theory being thrown around is a problem with a drive shaft or CV joint..
Doesnt look like any thing too serious. I'll keep you all posted on the situation!

I doubt its an engine mount as that is more of a knocking then a vibration and you would notice it more when stopping or starting or say if you were in first gear and uo let the rev's build up slowly and then you planted it, the engine will jerk forward.

wouldn't say its an engine mount alright as the front mount on mine is knocking and its only at low gears. No vibration at all through the wheel from it.
