Chris Type R should have a set of standard shocks with lowering springs off his siR since he got the D2s

I've had 3 sets of springs on the SiR and the only ones that made it in any way driveable were the Eibach Pro's. Every thing else was harsh to the point of needing physio every time I hit a speed bump.

I have Meister R Zeta S coilovers. Even on the softest setting they are harsh for everyday use, but would probably be great on a track. The highest setting is also very low for everyday driving taking into account speedbumps and driveways and such. Sometimes I think I would have been happier with shocks and springs.

The best setup I had was KYB shocks and springs for everyday use gave a little drop, slightly stiffer but no way rough..

Coilovers are a balls to use everyday

Oh, and spring rates are different for VTEC and non VTEC, so get the right springs for your motor.

Although now expensive due to the dollar exchange rate , i really like my Ground Control , koni Yellow And Eibach combo , they took a bit of fettling to get right , but i would recommend them any day .
Spring rates is something that most seem to ignore , i went with 350 front and 250 back , as recommended by TYSON on honda tech , a suspension guru i was told .

Hard to say, as there was a drop on the Koni's also. I think it was about 35mm.

Might be cheaper to import from the states:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/190618334336

I found them on a UK site for £400!
